The real problem with the book is the dangerous lack of any sources and citations. Very interesting read nonetheless and the author writes with a hint of sarcasm just when you’re thinking the same.

We appreciate your feedback. Interesting to peruse, especially for some of the esoteric entries, but also a missed opportunity to go deeper and tease out the sociological and cultural implications behind the desire and need to believe. He need to update this book and use a better format and higher grade of paper.

The cults section was riveting, as was the conspiracies section. Write a customer review. It’s a quick, informative and entertaining read, which I believe is exactly what the author intended.

To it’s credit, the book is written in a rather accessible manner and will no doubt prove useful for those having their first brushes with the subjects. Anyone with a working knowledge of major conspiracy socieites and secret societies will have no trouble navigating the book, but again, probably won’t pick up much new information. And skip the intro to the book itself because it falls flat.

The Opus Dei are another group of misfits. August 11, Imprint: Kudos to Arthur Goldwag, who has compiled some of the best theories, soccieties, and far-out doctrines into this outstanding reference work. I was expecting to need to get my tin foil hat out for this one, but it’s all research based and just gives the facts of what certain people believe and practice.

Since I’ve got a group of books to review from my vacation that need to get done tonight, I’m going to do this in a good old fashioned pros and cons list.
