Newcomers to the series will not find this to be a good jumping-on The Blue is for Nightmares series has involved murders, stalkers, psychic phenomena, magic and all kinds of dramatic things. And all she wants to do is go to Colorado and work things out with Jacob, who hasn’t been able to remember her since he lost his memory in his brush with death.


Though I did enjoy the hilarious little side panels on some of the pages, especially the one titled Jacob’s Instincts, which looks like this [image error] hee hee, adorable! I certainly wouldn’t mind reading the first book in this series if it should ever find its way into my hands.

It did nothing except tie everything up all pretty with no real substance. A romance without any of the typical teen yearning, whining and moaning, thankfully, but instead a more mature one that happens to be connected through prophetic dreams. I liked the style of the drawings for the most part, but some of it seemed weird and didn’t really feel like it fit the same atmosphere of the first four novels in the series.

It’s in there for the benefit of the reader, not the characters, so it comes off as an infodump. After I read it, not so stoked and wanting bsginnings. The graphic novel really just wrapped up what ended up happening with Stacey and Jacob, which of course I wanted, but I would have enjoyed more new storyline.

Fans of Blue Don’t waste your money, you already know what happens next. This was a very bare-bones story that did little to further the story, it just gave a sort-of conclusion to S I picked this up at work when I happened across it while shelving and, feeling nostalgic, I started reading it on my downtime.

I read each book multiple times. Or, get it for Kobo Super Points! With more than two million books sold worldwide, Stolarz’s titles have been named on various awards list. I was so excited to have an update on my favorite characters. The thing about this book is that it’s definitely nice to know how the main characters end up, but I found that the book lacked substance, and it frustrated me that most of the short story was taken up with os from the previous books.

I’m so disappointed by this.
